如果论文没有标注参考文献，就无法进入权威性的论文数据库，无法体现其社会效益。
标注参考文献可以增加论文信息量。
标注参考文献则不必大段抄录原文，只需列出核心观点与重要数据，从而突出主旨要义，缩减论文的篇幅。
与此同时，标注参考文献能使论文显得结构清晰、节约篇幅、语言精练、扩充容易，这也是众多知名学者引用较多参考文献的原因之一。
标注参考文献便于科研成果的评价。
