The title of my paper is On Transformation of Parts of Speech in Translation. I choose this as my topic due to the following reasons. Different languages have different standards to distinguish parts of speech. Each language has its own special structure. And there are no equivalent parts of speech between different languages. In order to make the target version more idiomatic and standard, the transformation of parts of speech is always used by translators. So the transformation of parts of speech is playing a more important role in English to Chinese based on different characteristics of English and Chinese. For the above facts, I select the subject of“On Transformation of parts of speech”as the title of my paper.
I hope by studying this topic we can know the importance of the transformation of parts of speech in English to Chinese translation. Through transformation, we can get the better version and improve the translation skills.
The way of thinking and expressing is quite different between Chinese and English. English is a kind of static languages which tends to use more nouns. While Chinese is a dynamic one in which verbs are often used.
So when we make translation in English to Chinese, we should know this point and shift the parts of speech.
Next, it is an outline of my paper. In the main part of this paper, I divide it into five parts.
Part one presents an introduction to the basic concepts of parts of speech and transformation.
Part two discusses the definition of translation and emphasizes the importance of transformation of parts of speech in the course of translation.
Part three gives four basic ways of transformation of parts of speech through illustrative examples. There are transformed English words into Chinese verbs, nouns, adjectives and adverbs.
Part four presents some problems about transformation and gives some advise to solve the problems.
Part five draws some conclusions that transformation between parts of speech is necessary for us to achieve good translation. It is demonstrated that we can have a good master of transformation and improve the translation. In addition, we must continuously study and explore in all kinds of translation practices.

When students go to college, they are much free than before and can have time to do what they want. Without the school’s regulation, college students can wear the fashionable clothes. As they are affected by the commercial ads, more and more college students pursue fashion. But they need to measure their situation.
当学生上大学了，会比以前自由很多，也有时间去做他们想做的事情。没有了学规，大学生可以穿时尚的衣服。由于他们收到了商业广告的影响，越来越多的大学生追求时尚。但是他们得要衡量要自己的情况。
On the one hand, college students have the right to pursue fashion. They are young and full of energy, it is good for them to dress out their styles. The skill to dress in different situation is the course for them to learn. They will learn how to dress in the process of pursuing fashion.
一方面，大学生有权利去追求时尚。他们年轻，充满了活力，穿出自己的风格对他们来说是好的。在不同场合的穿衣技巧是他们要学习的课程。他们会在追求时尚的过程中学习打扮技巧。
On the other hand, the crazy about fashion is not proper for them. As students, they don’t have much money, they are relying on their parents, so it is not right to spend parents’ money to pursue fashion. What’s more, students’ main duty is to study, focusing too much on fashion is not right for them.
另一方面，对时尚的狂热追求是不合适的。作为学生，他们没有很多钱，还得依靠父母，所以使用父母的钱来追求时尚是不对的。而且，学生的主要责任是学习，过度关注时尚是不对的。
College students can pursue fashion, but they should not be crazy about it. They need to measure their situation and make the wise choice.
大学生可以追求时尚，但是他们不应该过度追求。他们需要衡量自己的情形，做出明智的选择。
There are so many people smoke in the world, though they know smoking is harmful to their health, they just could not get rid of it. The number of smoker increases very year, the worse thing is that some smokers don’t realize they had bad effect on others. For the health, we should stay away from smoking.
在全世界有很多烟民，虽然他们知道吸烟对他们的健康有害，但是他们就是无法摆脱烟瘾。吸烟者的数量每年都在增加，更坏的事情就是一些烟民没有意识到他们对别人造成了不好的影响。为了健康，我们应该远离吸烟。
Once people smoke, it is hard for them to get rid of it. Take my father for example. My father started to smoke when he had the job annoyance at the age of 30. Since then, he smoked now and then, the tried to quit many times, but he never made it, because his mind told him smoke all the time. My father is a typical smoker, many smokers like him have given up quitting smoke.
人们一旦吸烟，就很难摆脱。拿我爸爸来当例子。我的爸爸在他30岁的时候，有很多工作上的烦恼，所以他吸烟了。从那时候起，他时而不时地吸烟，他多次尝试戒烟，但是都没有成功，因为他脑海里不断想要吸烟。我的爸爸是一名典型的烟瘾者，很多像他这样的烟民已经放弃了戒烟。
Smoking not only hurts one’s health, but also brings bad effect on others. The second-hand cigarette is harmful to the people who are around the smokers. The innocent people should not have to suffer from it. For everybody’s health, it is our duty to keep away from smoking.
吸烟不仅有害一个人的健康，也给别人带来了不好的影响。二手烟对在烟民附近的人非常有害。无辜的人们本来可以不用遭受这样的烟。为了每一个人的健康，远离吸烟，人人有责。
文贵出新。清代著名戏剧家李渔说：_人惟求旧，物惟求新;新也者，天下事物之美称也。而文章一道，较之他物，尤加倍焉。_论文最忌随人之后，人云亦云。只有言他人所未言，补他人所不足，领他人之所先，才可能写出优秀的论文。因此，选题时要尽量避免_大众化_、_一般化_，力求新颖。一是观念要新。要把握时代脉搏，善于捕捉社会热点、难点问题，从大众普遍关心的事物入手，选择一些有现实针对性的题目。同一件事物，不同的人有不同的`看法;同一写作对象，角度不同，写法各异，表达效果截然不同。要想使自己的论文给人以耳目一新的感觉，选题时，就必须多角度去构思;对过去相关著作进行了解，从而，从人们司空见惯的事物中，见人之所未见，独辟蹊径。如_蚕_，通常颂扬其_春蚕到死丝方尽_的奉献精神，也可以从反面立意，写其_作茧自缚_，自我束缚的一面。只有这样，才能使写出的论文凸现个性，给人以新知感。

Kindness is one most important quality for human being distinguish from the animal. Without kindness, the human being will selfish, indifferent, no sympathy and have no difference from animal.
善良是人类区别于动物的最重要的品质之一。没有善良，人类将会私自、冷漠、没有同情心，与动物无异。
There are many news about how people unfilial, hurt others maliciously, corrupted and many other immorality. Besides of they are lack of conscience, more important, they had no kindness. Kindness is to understand each other, care about others. A kind people would like to help others, he will accept the faults in a person. He would not hurt others, and always choose the right to do.
现在很多关于人民如何不孝、蓄意伤害他人、腐败还有其他道德败坏的新闻。除了他们的良心缺失，更重要的是，他们没有善良。善良是去理解他人，关爱他人。一个善良的人会乐意去帮助他人，他会接纳别人的缺点。他不会伤害别人，而坚持选择正确去做正确的事情。
Kindness is important for not only people but also important to the country and the world. If countries have a kind heart, there won’t be wars, and the whole world can be in harmony which will benefit everyone.
善良不仅仅对人们很重要，对一个国家乃至世界都很重要。如果国家有一颗爱心，就不会有战争，整个世界都会处于和谐，利益全人类。

His words enclose the distance between the job seekers at present.

The whole interview lasted for four hours. Finally, there are thirteen students smoothly into the back, waiting for the final interview result notification.
整个面试时间持续了4个小时，最后13名学生顺利的进入到复试，将等待最终的面试结果通知。
